Imagine not remembering anything but your first name. You are dropped off at a family members house who, you soon discover isn’t even related to you. Then add to your horror with vivid nightmares of being buried alive. For Ellis, this is her reality. What will become of her? Will she ever learn the truth and what of her friend Jenny?
The book centers around Ellis who remembers nothing of her past and is hurled into a life with so many twists and turns she is left confused. Between the nightmares and the childish games everyone seems to be in on except for her. She slowly unravels.
I could not out this book down but I must say, I am giving it 1/5 stars. This is why, 42 pages before the book comes to a close the book takes on a very religious aspect and is very pushy on the subject. If you like books based on the war between heaven and hell then, you will like this book. But I am just not a religious person and would have preferred the author stuck with primal plot.
