The Keeper Of Lost Things is another one of those books that stays with you long after you have turned the last page. This little gem focuses around an older gentleman who passes away and leaves his home and it’s contents to his maid on one condition. She must do all that she can to find the owner of all the items he has found during his life. He has a story for each item based upon where and how he found them and the stories are truly remarkable and touching. He wonders about the owners life and what the item meant to them. He wonders if they miss the item or even notice it’s disappearance.
This is a heart wprming book and would recommend this to anyone who wants a pick me up. The Keep of Lost Things is not in my usual pefered genre but, never the less, I could not put this book down. I would place this one right next to the Giver, which is an absolute dimond in any book lovers collection.
