Keeping Christmas by Dan Walsh is one of the those cute little stories that everyone can relate to. The book centers around an older couple who’s 3 kids have all moved out of state and started their own family. The mother of the now adult children struggles to accept that her children have their own families and lives now. When Thanksgiving roles around and none of her children come to visit her, she slips into a deep depression. One that her husband and friends have never seen before. This book is perfect for anyone who is not able to spend the holidays with loved ones. I would recommend this book for anyone over 40 who have a similar situation as the main character in the book. Not only does the book tell a story about a family but, it also has some good points for curing the holiday blues that everyone could learn from.
