The Wife is one of those law and order type books that does center around SVU. So if you are like me and struggle with those sorts of books, I will not judge you. I picked up this book not bothering to read the description as I do often with books. I find the book to excite me more when I do this because I won’t have any preperseptions about that book.
The book centers around Angie who is married to a simi-well known celebrity who teaches at a university, writes books, and has his own company. He is lining himself up to run for Mayor when his world is turned upside down. Every celebrity gets fake news shared about them having an affair with some young female at a bar or a student. But could what is being said about him be true? Will Angies past be dragged through mud as a reason for her husbands possible infidelity? There is only one way to find out. Pick up the book at your local library or book store. I will say this though, the book gets 3 out of 5 stars. In part because of the ending. Now it’s not it was a bad ending. Other people gave it 5/5. But it just made me angry. So, 3/5.
